 Developed for use with water, ready for the road Tidore is the name of a picturesque island in the Moluccas, a true paradise for divers. So the name of Indonesia's natural beauty spot perfectly matches this extraordinary wheel by AEZ. The rim was namely originally designed for underwater trips: its prototype adorned the Rinspeed sQuba and proved on the cult show-car of the innovative Swiss customiser that it is perfectly suited for diving. Because the wheel captivated trade-fair visitors, journalists and sQuba fans, it is now available in the series version for vehicles with 5-hole attachment in sizes from 7x16 to 8x19 inches. Practically all popular automobiles are suitable for the AEZ Tidore dark; it goes with both coupés as well as convertibles and limousines - even if they are not designed for driving underwater.  With its five strongly curved double spokes and a very deeply pulled-back middle area, the Tidore dark appears powerful, dominant and yet filigree and noble. It discreetly shows self-confidence and chic and stands out from the crowd. This impression is fortified by the expressive decorative boreholes, but mainly by the trendy bi-colour look: the special aluminium look of the Tidore dark is created by the interplay of polished silver, matte clear coat and a new shade developed by AEZ. Anthracite matt especially emphasises the bead seat of the rim and the base as well as the insides of the spokes.
