KTM Red Bull MX2 riders registered a near perfect day at the Bulgarian Grand Prix finishing with a second and third place for valuable championship points. South Africa Tyla Rattray may be still dissatisfied with the opening phases of his races, but practice makes perfect and the red-headed rider is on his way forward. He was third in the first heat behind the all-powerful Antonio Cairoli and KTM’s own Tommy Searle. In the second race Rattray came in at third place again for overall second while teenager Tommy was fifth for third place at the end of the day. Not surprisingly, team boss Stefan Everts was justifiably pleased with his MX2 duo. |

KTM Red Bull Racing Team's David Philippaerts performed well in MX1 at the Grand Prix of France on Sunday, registering a 2-5 result in the two heats for a confidence building overall third place for the Italian rider. The result also places Philippaerts in third place in the season's world championship standings, a significant improvement on earlier performances. Team-mate Jonathan Barragan, still nursing a shoulder injury from a crash in Japan came in at sixth place and is also sixth in the standings. |

 David Philippaerts After an excellent start in the first MX1 race on the Sugoland motocross circuit north of Tokyo where KTM Red Bull factory riders Jonathan Barragan and David Philippaerts were second and fourth respectively, the riders were unable to convert the results.
The Italian Philippaerts managed sixth in race two for an eventual overall fourth position, whereas the Spaniard Barragan crashed several times and when he was among one of a number of riders who came unstuck going over the tabletop he decided to retire from race two. |
